Really old workbenches, butcher’s blocks, live edge and scaffolding board tables all look just as fabulous in a modern house as they do in a traditional home.

Both Dean and I love rustic furniture and we always have in stock several pieces to suit all budgets. These units are often (but not always) central focal points for your kitchen. We often place rustic units in the middle of the kitchen as an island or dining table/prep space dual purpose use. Smaller rustic units are great for the kitchen sink units.

Rustic kitchen units look best when they don’t have to compete with the rest of the kitchen. We highly recommend that you keep the other kitchen units simple and choose only one or two rustic pieces to give your kitchen that wow factor.

All of our rustic units have been jet washed, stripped of chemicals, frozen (if woodworm is present) and coated with food grade solutions to ensure a safe space for food prep. They are often unpainted but we can distress paint items to match your space.
